1 How to Make Textual Sites More Interactive through Design

International trade and business has expanded with modernization. Buyers and sellers from around the world are gathered to an international forum for discussions and negotiations about the product and service they have to offer to their prospect customer. With the advent for science and technology the process has become simpler. Now a number of buyers and sellers are connected through b2b and b2c websites and domains. These websites allow seller to sell their products and services to prospect seller and connect buyers with sellers to satisfy their needs and necessities. Ebay is one example of such organizations.

The most important thing to consider in this regard is the website design that it is equally attractive for buyers and sellers. There are a number of things to be considered in this regard. Most b2b or b2c websites contain so much information that it becomes very difficult for viewers to extract out their desired information. Another problem with such websites is that these sites are supposed to be informative which becomes boring for the target audience. Whenever a viewer visits a b2b website he is bombarded with a lot of information or a lot text to read. One can easily observe that b2b or b2c website are low on design and contains a lot of text on the homepage which often distracts the user. To make these sites more interactive there’s a lot of room for improvement. The first thing to do is to introduce movies or clippings for product description instead of textual description. Support product description with images and labeled diagrams. The web 2.0 design concept limits the textual content on the homepage. If B2B and B2C websites are based on web 2.0 concept they will definitely become more interactive.
