For people like us, prettier is equals to better but for designers it is a superficial approach for designing a website. Designers follow an in-depth strategy when creating a website as many aesthetically strong websites can result into poor user experience. If the colors or graphics are poorly used then they can compromise the usability of the website. So the question remains the same, how can we develop a website that attracts the visitors?
To establish a great user interface, a designer does not have to go for bare bones. Even if the designer goes for bare bones, he may end up with a website that has decreased usability. It is because if he had not rightly placed the elements of a website then the user interface will be poor. This means that either of the approach can fail to engage the visitors as eye candies can distract while bare bones do not attract.
The choice relies on the way you want to be perceived. Businesses that want to be recognized as fun and chic uses a palette of splashy colors while organization that wants to be taken seriously uses light-toned single or double color in their website. However, if you are confused what to choose then read the article to decide what suits best for your business.
The Layout
Web is a world of first impression- this means the colors, layout and its presentation is evaluated. Moreover, graphics give a pictorial representation to the content making it more appealing. Keeping your graphics to minimal designs will help you maintain the focus and attention of the viewer.
A designer should always understand that the first glance builds relationship with the user. The design or the graphics should be able to generate emotions of happiness, contentment, and enlightenment. This helps the user to connect with the overall experience.
The Content
Once you have said everything with your graphics and if it is intriguing-the visitor will go through the content. Here, the designer has to apply the typography rules to make the text readable and legible. Even in content, he has to keep in mind the aesthetics of the websites because it is not necessary that great information that is cramped will engage the reader.
The User Interface
Once you have set the tone of your website with your words, it is time to build a strong user interface website. The UX design website helps in maintaining the appeal of the website. The UX should also go with the flow of the design, as the medium is highly interactive. A well-illustrated website with smooth user interface increases the value of the customer.
Keeping these 3 elements in mind, the designer will be able to attract a number of users to its websites making the experience worthwhile.
